Regional Awards

The Cartier Women's Initiative Regional Awards recognize women impact entrepreneurs from all around the world whose businesses have realized significant, positive social and/or environmental impact.

Thematic Awards

Recent editions of the Cartier Women's Initiative have awarded thematic awards alongside the Regional Awards. 

The Science & Technology Pioneer Award launched in 2021. Open to women impact entrepreneurs from any country and sector, it highlights disruptive solutions built around unique, protected, or hard-to-reproduce technological or scientific advances.

The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Award, presented in 2022 and 2023 was created to encourage entrepreneurial solutions designed to close gaps of access, outcome or opportunity for communities that have been underrepresented or underserved. While the other regional and thematic awards of the Cartier Women’s Initiative focus on supporting women, this award was open to all genders.

Impact Awards

Held in 2022 and 2025, the Impact Awards recognize the extraordinary impact achieved by nine former fellows. The Impact Awardees were selected across three categories, Preserving the Planet, Improving Lives, and Creating Opportunities, each aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and collectively addressing the full spectrum of the 17 goals. Chosen through a rigorous evaluation and jury process, the awardees embody the spirit of visionary leadership and scalable innovation.
